Terms of service

Last Updated: July 10, 2026

By purchasing, accepting, or using any vascular simulation products provided by AngioLabs (the "Company"), you (the "User") acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Intended Use and Scope

AngioLabs models are designed exclusively for educational, training, and simulation purposes.

  • Not for Clinical Use: These products are not medical devices cleared for clinical diagnosis, patient treatment, or surgical planning. They are not intended to be used on or in humans.

  • Supervision: Use of these simulators should be performed under the guidance of qualified medical professionals or within an appropriate institutional training environment.

2. Product Fragility and Limited Replacement Warranty

You acknowledge that AngioLabs products are manufactured using specialized additive manufacturing processes.

  • Material Limitations: To achieve the high level of optical transparency and realism required for effective endovascular simulation, the wall thickness of these models has been optimized to be extremely thin.

  • Fragility: Consequently, these models are inherently fragile. They are susceptible to damage, cracking, or breakage if handled improperly, subjected to excessive pressure, or used with equipment not intended for this model.

  • 3-Month Replacement Warranty: We stand by our products. If an AngioLabs model becomes damaged or fails during normal simulation use within three (3) months of the purchase date, the Company will provide a replacement unit. To exercise this warranty, the User is responsible for all associated shipping and handling costs for the replacement. Damage caused by intentional misuse or failure to follow handling guidelines may void this warranty.

3. Intellectual Property and Patent Notice

All AngioLabs products, designs, 3D printing methodologies, and related digital files are the exclusive intellectual property of AngioLabs.

  • Patent Status: Our vascular simulation systems and associated technologies are protected by pending provisional patent applications.

  • Prohibitions: You agree that you will not reverse-engineer, reproduce, modify, resell, or distribute any AngioLabs products or proprietary designs without express written permission from the Company. Any unauthorized attempt to replicate our technology may result in legal action.

4. Anatomical Representation

You understand that all AngioLabs simulators represent a generalized anatomical configuration or specific anatomical variants.

  • Anatomical Variability: Human anatomy is subject to significant individual variation. A simulator's representation of a vessel, aneurysm, or pathology is not exhaustive.

  • Professional Judgment: You acknowledge that a simulator cannot replicate the full complexity or range of human anatomical diversity. Reliance on these models for training does not substitute for clinical experience or professional judgment.

5. Proper Use of Equipment

You agree to use only compatible guide wires and catheters as explicitly recommended by the Company. Use of non-compatible tools or excessive force during simulation exercises may result in immediate damage to the model, for which the User assumes full responsibility.

6. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

  • Disclaimer: AngioLabs expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

  • Liability: In no event shall AngioLabs, its founders, officers, or employees be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products.

  • Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AngioLabs from any and all claims, liabilities, or expenses arising out of your use or misuse of the simulator products.

7. Modifications to Terms

AngioLabs reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our products constitutes your agreement to the updated terms.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be resolved in the courts located within the State of Texas.
